Kicker Rock rises about 150 metres from the ocean, 1.5 hours by boat from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. The narrow channel between its two towers drops to great depth, attracting Galápagos sharks, hammerheads, sea turtles, eagle rays and sea lions. On our Tour 360° we snorkel here for 40 minutes to an hour, then continue to Cerro Brujo beach, where Darwin landed in 1835.

A boat tour from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno to Kicker Rock (León Dormido), a 150-metre volcanic tuff cone split in two. You snorkel the deep channel between the rocks with sharks, turtles and rays. With Andry Tours, Kicker Rock is part of the full-day Tour 360° around San Cristóbal.
Yes. Hammerheads are seen more often in the cooler season (about June to November). Galápagos sharks, white-tip reef sharks, sea turtles and eagle rays are common all year.
Kicker Rock is included in our Tour 360° San Cristóbal at $180 USD per person, with lunch, snorkel gear, wetsuit and a bilingual naturalist guide.
The channel is deep open water, so you should be comfortable swimming. Wetsuits and floating vests are provided and the guide stays with the group.
